Fathers Day Class or Kit by Mail



Hello All,
Well I finally have the pictures completed. Here are the items that I am offering at my Fathers Day Class on Saturday, June 14 at 4:00pm. This class includes 2 scrapbook pages, a photo album, and a card. This class is available by pre-registration only at the cost of $10. Pre Registration will end on June 7--this will allow me to get all supplies needed. If you are unable to attend the class this kit is also available by mail for an additional $4.75. The kit by mail will come pre stamped--all you will have to do is assemble. This will include easy to follow step by step instructions. Please email me at chrissyw.su@gmail.com by June 7th if you are interested. I will then send options for payment. I hope to hear from you soon.

SU! Color Combos

Hello There,
As I was searching away this morning on the internet I found a fabulous discovery. If any of you all are like me I feel like all my cards have the same color combination. Well no more---I found this site called SU! Color Combos that you can click on the SU color you want to use and it gives you endless possibilities on color combinations. Chalking Technique


Hey There,
Well here is another card from the Stampers 6 club Mon night. We used a technique called chalking. This is such a simple technique to do and so very elegant!!
All you do is stamp your image onto a darker piece of cardstock in the Whisper White craft ink and then using the Stampin Pastels chalk----chalk away with the sponge daubers.
Stamps: Live Your Dreams
Ink: Craft Whisper White and Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, and Afternoon Tea DSP.
Accessories: Chalking, Scallop Punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, stampin pastels chalk, sponge daubers, and dimensionals.

Spotlighting Technique


Good afternoon,
This is another card we did last night at the Stampers 6 club meeting. This technique is called spotlighting--I think it adds a great touch to the card.

Ink: Staz On Black, Purely Pomegrante
Cardstock: Purely Pomegrante, Basic Black, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Accesorries: Brads, Purely Pomegrante Ribbon, 1 1/4 circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, Blender Pen, So Saffron stampin write marker, and photo corner punch.

Doodle This Card


Hello All,
Hope you are having a great Memorial weekend. The weather has been great, so great my little one doesn't want to come inside!!!
This is one of the cards that I made that we will be making at the Stampers 6 club Monday night. The theme of this club meeting is showcasing different techniques. So check back later in the week for new cards and techniques.
Not sure if this actually has a name for the techniques that is used but all you do is stamp your image onto glossy white cardstock with staz on ink and let dry. Then pick your favorite colors using the sponge daubers ink away---how simple!!

Ink: Black Staz On, Tempting Turquoise, and Green Galore
Cardstock: Basic Black, Glossy, Tempting Turquoise, and Green Galore

Earth Elements Card

Hello all,
Isn't this weather been great!! Hopefully it is going to start getting warm again soon. This was a quick card I did this morning for an Earth Element swap--I could only use colors that are in the Earth Element SU color family and a neutral. So this is what I came up with.
I am planning on doing a Fathers Day class in the first of June. We will be doing 2 scrapbook pages, a photo album, and a card. I will be posting the pictures this weekend. The cost will be $10. Please email me if you think you may be interested.

Life's A Breeze



Good Morning,

Here is a card I used the Life's A Breeze Bundle on. I cased this card for a note inside of some burp cloths I embroidered for a baby shower---boy of course!!! I think it turned out cute. I plan on using this set for some summer pages of Mason playing in the water---if it ever gets WARM!@!@!!

Embrace Life

Hello,

Happy Saturday!!!! This is a new color combo for me---merging the in colors with chocolate chip. I know you all have heard me say this time and time again but I will be so so sad to see these colors go. I feel like I have stocked up though. Anyways hope you enjoy!!!

The ATTIC is OPEN!!!


Hello all,

Well finally I have an item to add to the attic. I posted a while back that I would be adding handmade things to sell and I am finally adding my first. I have added these cute little books that are good to use to put addresses, recipes, and everyday notes. I use mine for passwords to different things on the computer---I seem to have 100 passwords. Swap Card


Hello all,

So glad you dropped in. Here is a card that I received in a card swap today---sorry the card wasn't stamped so can't give credit to the one who created it. I think it is too cute and great for summer---if summer ever gets here. Isn't this weather crazy!!! Anyways this is using one of the sets out of the Occasions Mini which SU has extended the brochure till the end of June. I love this Tart & Tangy set--it is so great to use for scratch and sniff and the set is very inexpensive!! Well thanks so much for stopping by---I love watching that counter go up, up, and up!!!!
